From the Utilities menu, choose Rebuild Databases.
This option reorganizes and compacts your databases. Often when things seem to
appear out of order, rebuilding will solve the problem.
The MusicMix data is stored in files with the extension ".DBF". It is kept in
order with associated index files ending in "CDX". Selecting Rebuild Databases
re-creates the CDX index by sorting all of the data from scratch. Normally
indexes remain intact, but in a power failure, or if someone turns off or
re-boots the computer without exiting MusicMix, the DBF file may be sitting in a
different state than the CDX file.
Most stations routinely Rebuild once a week or so, just to keep files compact.
