Log Files

Log Files

From the Utilities menu, choose Log Files.

If you use digital automation which reads a log file, it will need daily playlist logs and a complete music library log.

Set Path:
You must designate a path on your computer where log files will be stored. On a network, you'll indicate the directory name where your automation looks for the files. If you use a floppy disk to manually transfer log files, you'll designate the drive letter (i.e. A:).  Click Set Path to select the folder where you will store log files.

Library:
Create a file of all titles used by your system. This is used by your digital automation to create the list of titles available for manual insert. You'll be asked for rotations to include so that only those titles in the categories you choose will be included in the library log file.

Playlist:
Normally your playlist log-file is generated automatically when you create or edit your schedule (if "Log File" is checked on the first Create Schedule screen). You can re-send the log file here by entering the date of the playlist.
