Analysis Report

From the Reports menu, choose Analysis,

There are several different formats of reports which analyze the way your station's music is being used.

Rotations Analysis:
This report shows how quickly titles in each rotation will repeat on your station based on how you have set up Format Clocks and how many titles have been assigned to each rotation category. Included is the total number of songs in each rotation, how many of those songs play each day and each hour, the percentage of the library in that rotation played each day, and how many days, hours and minutes it will take for titles in each rotation to repeat. The report shows this information for each day of the week, and an overall average. You may select a start and end time if you wish to look at only a specific daypart.

Music Attributes Analysis:
This report is useful in looking at how well balanced your playlists are in terms of the various music attributes or characteristics you've assigned. It will show by total and percentage each attribute category based on a series of playlists you select. For example, you might use it to get a feeling for the overall tempo of your station.

Artists Analysis:
Two artist studies are available.

The Daily Artist Count report uses up to one week of playlists to see how much of your stations music each day is devoted to each artist you play. It's a good test of whether you're over-playing or under-playing a particular artist.

The Artist Totals report is a broader look at inventory and rotations over a longer period. It lists artists in order of play frequency.  You may limit the report to include only the top ___ artists.

Titles Totals:
This report counts plays of most-often heard titles on your station during a specified time period. Titles are listed in order of frequency. It answers the question, "Which songs are we playing the most?"  You may limit the report to include only the top ___ titles.

Playlist History:
This report shows title by title total plays since the counter was reset and since the song was added. It may be limited and sorted as you wish.

Inventory Distribution Analysis:
The Inventory Analysis report shows music statistics for all criteria you have defined in your music library. You may show an analysis of the entire library, or limit the report to certain titles. Included in the report will be the number of titles in each trait for each attribute you have defined. Also shown will be the number of titles in each music source and a breakdown by age of the songs (Click Years to define year groupings.  The system counts titles in seven year-groups by age.) 

The on-screen report shows only number-of-titles in each category. The hard-copy print out also shows a percentage for each.

You may click the check-box to include "Artist Stats."  Besides the above information, the report will then include a count for the number of titles by each artist in the library (or section of the library you select).
