From the Reports menu, choose Inventory List.
There are several ways to print music library inventory information depending on the choices you make on the report designer screen.
Format:
Each format contains different levels of depth in the
information that they include. They range from a simple listing to a detailed
analysis. As you click (or move the cursor with arrow keys) on the Format
choices, watch the status bar on the bottom of the screen for a listing of what
is contained in each report format.
Sort Order:
You may arrange your Inventory List alphabetically by Artist or Title,
numerically by Source Number, or in several other orders.
Starting/Ending Points:
Your report may begin and end wherever you want. Initially it is set to the
first title based upon your "Sort Order" selection (above). You must enter valid
data (you can't start with a title that has been excluded by your Limits
setting).
Heading:
Place any title on your report.
Limits:
This selection moves you to the Set Limits area.
Here you may choose to include only certain types of music in your report.
Reports may be limited to include titles from only certain years, certain
rotations, certain music sources, and those titles that achieved certain chart
positions. You also may limit the report to show only those titles that have
certain Attribute traits. Even choose a report with titles containing certain
words or phrases ("heart" songs for Valentines Day).
Example:
You use Limits to create a report showing only those titles from 1985-1989 in your Power Gold Rotation which achieved Top 5 chart status and are Up Tempo.
Design:
If the "Custom" Format is selected, the Design push button becomes available.
Click Design to open the Report Designer
tool.
