From the Reports menu, choose Music History.
This report tracks specific airplay times for individual titles. It is used to
see if titles are receiving even airplay across dayparts. It also shows
repetition levels for individual songs. You can show the information in a list
format, or graphically.
Format:
Two styles of reports are available: "Matrix" and "Chronological."
The "Matrix" report shows each title followed by a list of dates upon which that
title was played. On each date, an asterisk indicates the time of airplay. The
report indicates airplay of a title that the system scheduled even though it
failed to pass at least one scheduling rule by showing why it failed. An {A}
indicates the failure was due to Artist Separation. A {D} indicates the failure
was due to Previous Days' Play Separation. A number (1-9) indicates the failure
was due to a Music Attribute Separation. (The number is the number of the
specific attribute causing the failure). This chart graphically shows at a
glance whether even dayparting is occurring for each title.
The "Chronological" report is a list of titles, each showing the date and time
of airplay over the number of days you've selected. Also shown is elapsed time
(in days, hours and minutes) for each play of the title since the last play of
the same title.
Sort Order:
Allows you to change the order that titles are listed.
Start/End of List:
Sets the starting and ending titles for the report.
Number of Days:
You may select how many days of history you'd like shown for each title up to
the limit you've defined for the system (see System
Options). Be aware that listing numerous titles for numerous days can eat up
a lot of paper!
Limits:
Your report may included the entire library, or you may limit it to include
only songs meeting specific criteria.
